Accountant – Remote Real Estate Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to support large‑scale real‑estate implementation projects and ongoing accounting operations. This remote, project‑based position requires strong accounting fundamentals, analytical thinking, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports in line with deadlines and reporting requirements.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Manage cash‑related functions and monitor cash balances.
• Initiate, review, and post journal entries.
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and financial issues.
• Analyze expenses and prepare monthly accruals based on budgets and forecasts.
• Review accounts payable activity and select invoices for payment processing.
• Conduct monthly general ledger analysis and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Support accounting operations related to real‑estate implementation projects.
• Assist with audit requests and prepare supporting financial documentation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth onboarding and operational continuity.
• Provide timely communication and updates to internal stakeholders and clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and critical‑reasoning skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a project‑driven environment.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
