Accounting Specialist – Latin America

About the role

Cloudbeds is looking for an Accounting Specialist to help Latin American hotel clients unlock the full potential of our financial platform. You will guide customers through end‑to‑end accounting onboarding, ensuring their properties are correctly configured from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full accounting onboarding for Latin American hotels, including chart of accounts mapping, tax configuration, revenue recognition, and e‑invoicing compliance (Mexico SAT/CFDI, Colombia DIAN, Chile SII, etc.).
• Translate each client’s business processes—night audits, folio management, accounts receivable, month‑end close—into a properly configured Cloudbeds environment.
• Support integrations between Cloudbeds and third‑party accounting platforms/ERPs such as QuickBooks, Xero, M3, NetSuite, and regional Latin American systems.
• Troubleshoot accounting discrepancies, integration sync issues, and configuration questions with a hands‑on, solutions‑oriented approach.
• Act as the internal subject‑matter expert on Latin American hospitality accounting practices and fiscal compliance.

Required profile

• Strong background in hospitality accounting and familiarity with Latin American fiscal regulations.
• Customer‑facing mindset with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced remote environment.
