Accounts Payable Assistant

About the role

Kraft Heinz is looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant in Santiago, Chile, to process supplier invoices, support expense reporting and keep track of payments. The position is full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Process and review supplier invoices, ensuring accurate and timely registration.
• Support the processing and follow-up of employee expense reports.
• Monitor payments and help ensure obligations are met within agreed payment terms.
• Perform account reconciliations and follow up on outstanding or pending items.
• Review invoices and purchase orders, resolving discrepancies when needed.
• Support the reconciliation and recording of corporate credit card transactions.
• Maintain communication with suppliers about payment inquiries, invoice status and reconciliations.
• Partner with Finance, Procurement, People, Logistics and other teams to resolve AP requests.
• Prepare reports on invoices, payments, approvals, purchase orders and account status.
• Support intercompany invoicing and contribute to month-end activities.

Required profile

• Technical degree, ongoing university studies or a Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• 0-1 year of experience in finance, accounting, accounts payable/receivable or a related area.
• Basic to intermediate English; strong attention to detail, organization, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills, customer-service mindset and ability to handle multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
• SAP experience is a plus but not required.
