Advanced Application Engineer – HPS Technical Support

About the role

The Advanced Application Engineer provides superior customer satisfaction by delivering technical support for Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS) systems and infrastructure. Working in a global team, the engineer resolves customer cases, communicates effectively, and ensures timely resolution of issues across a defined product portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver remote and on‑site technical support, adhering to Service Level Agreements.
• Execute GTAC and standard audit checklists, reporting to regional stakeholders.
• Maintain comprehensive case documentation and follow‑up to guarantee issue resolution.
• Respond to high‑volume customer inquiries, providing frequent and informative updates.
• Participate in customer meetings and support Honeywell affiliates.
• Stay current with the HPS product portfolio, especially the Experion PKS Client/Servers line.
• Create and share knowledge articles within the team.
• Provide follow‑the‑sun and after‑hours emergency support as needed.
• Collaborate directly with Honeywell developers to resolve complex issues.
• Detect and report product defects within the supported discipline.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in electronics, chemical, instrumentation or process technologies.
• Minimum 6 years of experience with Honeywell TPS and TPN product families and related architecture.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the listed HPS products and systems.
