About the role

SLB is seeking a Business Development Manager for its Mining portfolio to drive regional growth and strengthen market position. The role focuses on creating and executing marketing and sales strategies, building a robust pipeline, and delivering sustainable revenue in the mining sector.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the regional marketing and sales plan for the mining portfolio.
  • Lead commercial engagements with mining clients and connect internal business lines to new opportunities.
  • Identify and pursue new markets, partnerships, and innovative ways to reach existing customers.
  • Promote the portfolio’s value proposition and educate internal teams on mining‑specific requirements.
  • Manage critical opportunities, support tender development, and contribute to winning sales strategies.
  • Conduct detailed market assessments, oversee pricing, and support the launch of new products and services tailored to regional needs.

Required profile

  • Proven experience in business development or sales within the mining or related industrial sectors.
  • Strong customer‑centric mindset with the ability to understand and address client challenges.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across multiple internal teams.
  • Track record of generating revenue growth and managing complex commercial opportunities.
