Director, Product Support - HPGR & Dry Grinding

About the role

Metso is looking for a senior leader to head product support for its High Pressure Grinding Roll (HPGR) and Dry Grinding product groups. This global role bridges engineering, sales and market teams to strengthen customer relationships, drive growth and ensure successful delivery of capital and service solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with key customers, engineering houses and consultants, identifying new market opportunities.
• Deliver technical presentations, workshops and promotional activities together with Marketing and Sales.
• Support customers in integrating and optimizing HPGR technology within comminution circuits.
• Provide expert input during proposal development to align solutions with customer needs and technical requirements.
• Feed performance, pricing and customer experience insights back to Product Line and Engineering for product strategy.
• Assist Market Area teams with training, opportunity development and strategic sales planning.
• Lead handover of successful sales to project execution teams to ensure smooth delivery.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Metallurgy, Process disciplines or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in product management, business development or technical sales within mining, mineral processing or heavy industry.
• Strong commercial mindset, strategic thinking and customer focus.
• Proven ability to lead and influence in a global matrix organization.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills across diverse cultures.
• Willingness to travel regularly, both domestically and internationally.
