HR Generalist – Santiago, Chile

About the role

We are seeking a proactive, people‑oriented HR Generalist to support our expanding operations in Santiago, Chile. As the primary HR contact for the local office, you will partner with employees, managers, and global HR teams to deliver a positive employee experience while ensuring compliance with Chilean labor laws.

Key responsibilities

• Drive employee engagement initiatives, internal events, recognition programs, and communications to foster a positive workplace culture.
• Conduct regular employee check‑ins, support conflict resolution, and act as a trusted advisor on people‑related matters.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle, performance management, employee development, and related documentation.
• Administer HR operations including attendance, leave, benefits, and record‑keeping.
• Coordinate payroll processes with external providers to ensure accuracy and timely execution.
• Maintain employment contracts, amendments, and legally required documentation in line with Chilean regulations.
• Ensure compliance with labor and social security laws, and collaborate with legal and safety advisors as needed.
• Support workplace safety initiatives, mandatory training, risk prevention, and emergency procedures.
• Partner with managers and global HR to support salary reviews, performance cycles, organizational changes, and talent initiatives.
• Produce HR metrics, dashboards, and reports on headcount, turnover, absenteeism, recruitment, and engagement.
• Maintain HR systems and employee databases, ensuring data accuracy.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Chilean labor legislation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
• Hands‑on professional comfortable balancing operational excellence with employee advocacy.
• Ability to work effectively in an international, fast‑paced environment.
