Intermediate Electrical Designer – 7+ Years Experience

About the role

Join BBA’s engineering team as an Intermediate Electrical Designer, working on complex electrical and interdisciplinary projects for industrial, mining, renewable energy and heavy‑industry clients. You will collaborate with senior experts to design electrical rooms, conduit systems, MV/LV switchgear, lighting, substations and control systems.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in conceptual and detailed engineering studies.
• Develop 2D and 3D designs using industry‑standard software.
• Perform design calculations and verify compliance with codes and standards.
• Prepare cable schedules and material lists according to BBA’s quality system.
• Support onsite construction activities when required.
• Assist in commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical systems.

Required profile

• Electrical technician or engineer with at least 7 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Navisworks, Revit and AutoCAD (Smart 3D is a plus).
• Solid understanding of BIM methodology.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus but not mandatory.
• Results‑driven, ethical, collaborative and committed to sustainable solutions.
