Key Account Manager - Oncology

About the role

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Key Account Manager (KAM) to lead strategic relationships with key healthcare accounts, including hospitals, health systems, and payers, within the oncology portfolio. The role focuses on executing brand and market access strategies to drive sustainable growth while adhering to regulatory and ethical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key oncology accounts and stakeholders.
• Design and implement account plans aligned with brand and market access objectives.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, and Commercial teams.
• Identify and pursue access and growth opportunities in complex health‑care systems.
• Support value‑based conversations in line with approved scientific frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards.

Required profile

• University degree in Health Sciences, Pharmacy, Business Administration or related field.
• Proven experience as a Key Account Manager in the pharmaceutical or health‑care sector.
• Preferably experience in oncology.
• Strong understanding of health‑care systems and payer environments.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to work in matrixed, multi‑functional teams.
