Lead DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Lead DevOps Engineer to own and evolve the automation foundation of our cloud platform. You will define standards for infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and self‑service provisioning, enabling teams to deliver safely and reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Shape and advance the company’s Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategy, including reusable Terraform modules, account provisioning, and environment templates.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure, platform services, and reference applications.
• Establish standards for branching, promotions, secret handling, configuration drift detection, and environment parity.
• Create self‑service tooling that converts requests into curated IaC pull requests with human approval checkpoints.
• Embed compliance, security, and quality guardrails directly into pipelines.
• Collaborate with teams to onboard workloads onto standardized automation patterns and resolve pipeline challenges.
• Work with FinOps to integrate cost guardrails and policy‑as‑code into deployment processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• At least 1 year leading and overseeing development teams.
• Strong DevOps background with deep proficiency in Terraform or comparable IaC tools.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Jenkins.
• Proven experience designing multi‑account, multi‑environment IaC frameworks and landing zones.
• Excellent spoken and written English (B2+ level).
