Lead DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to drive our AWS‑focused cloud infrastructure, automation, and engineering practices. You will lead migrations, support AI‑enabled improvements, and help build a secure, scalable platform for our international projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AWS Lambda services and API Gateway endpoints using Python and boto3.
• Lead the transition of CI/CD pipelines from legacy functions to GitHub Actions.
• Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform and the Serverless Framework.
• Perform brownfield refactors, service retirements, OAuth migrations, and WAF block‑mode rollouts.
• Configure and tune AWS WAF rules, addressing security findings from SAST and SCA tools.
• Collaborate with SRE on telemetry gaps and Lambda‑driven data collection.
• Evaluate new tools for enterprise‑level AI enablement and streamline operational workflows.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in DevOps or cloud engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience leading and managing development teams.
• Strong English communication skills (B2+).

Required skills

• Python development for AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
• Proficiency with boto3 (IAM, Secrets Manager, SSM, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, WAF).
• Hands‑on Terraform for production‑grade IaC.
• Experience with the Serverless Framework.
• CI/CD pipeline creation using GitHub Actions.
• Configuration of AWS WAF, including block‑mode.
• Knowledge of security tooling such as SAST and SCA.
