Logistics Supervisor – Project & Commercial Logistics

About the role

The Logistics Supervisor will support multiple mining and metals projects by managing technical and commercial logistics activities. This position is responsible for coordinating domestic and international multi‑leg shipments, ensuring safe, timely, and cost‑effective delivery of goods in line with project requirements and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate Bechtel and project safety requirements into all logistics tasks.
• Coordinate international and domestic shipments with internal and external stakeholders to meet project schedules.
• Enter shipment milestones and tracking data into Bechtel Digital Supply Chain Systems (DSCS) and Transport Management Systems (TMS).
• Identify transport cost alternatives and prepare commercial bid documents for logistics service providers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) with 8‑10 years of relevant logistics experience, or 12‑14 years without a degree.
• Proven experience in project logistics for large industrial projects, including multi‑modal transport and import/export compliance.
• Ability to manage high‑pressure situations, tight schedules, and complex problem scenarios.
