Management Consulting Matcher – Remote

About the role

Toptal is seeking a Management Consulting Matcher to work directly with clients, understand their consulting needs, and custom‑match them with top consultants from our global talent network. This fully remote position requires strong consulting experience and the ability to manage engagements from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

• Gather client requirements, define job descriptions, and translate business needs into consultant profiles.
• Search, shortlist, and engage talent; confirm availability and negotiate rates and engagement dates.
• Introduce candidates to clients, highlighting technical and cultural fit, and maintain detailed documentation on the platform.
• Provide ongoing support throughout the engagement, collect feedback, and resolve any disputes in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Develop a client portfolio, build relationships with top consultants, and eventually manage major accounts and strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in management consulting (top‑tier or reputable boutique) or equivalent strategic advisory roles.
• Broad exposure across multiple consulting practices (strategy, finance, operations, marketing, HR, technology) or strong generalist track record.
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and emotional‑intelligence skills.
• Ability to work full‑time during EST or PST hours and thrive under tight deadlines.
