Paediatric Staff Nurse – Ambulatory Care (Part‑time)

About the role

This part‑time position provides assessment, treatment and ongoing care for children in an ambulatory setting, Monday to Friday, 08:00‑17:00. You will work within a fast‑paced, family‑centred team delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based nursing care.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver treatment pathways for paediatric patients.
• Provide holistic, family‑centred support throughout the care journey.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of evidence‑based practice and apply it to clinical decisions.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members and act independently when required.
• Ensure compliance with NHS policies, including PVG Scheme membership and Flying Start requirements.

Required profile

• Recognised clinical nursing qualification (e.g., RN) with ongoing professional development.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
• Commitment to delivering clinically effective, family‑focused care.
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom and willingness to join the PVG Scheme.
