Professional Education Specialist – Southern Cone

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Professional Education Specialist to lead medical education initiatives across the Southern Cone region. The role focuses on developing and delivering educational strategies that support safe and effective use of orthopedic products and improve surgical techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an education plan for all franchise specialties, addressing healthcare professional training needs.
• Deliver theoretical and practical education, providing clinical support on the product portfolio.
• Collaborate with marketing and EdTech teams to align educational strategies with product launches.
• Work with centers of excellence to improve the development and implementation of the education plan.
• Create memorable learning experiences for participants and faculty, ensuring educational goals are met.
• Maintain relationships with key opinion leaders who serve as faculty in the Johnson & Johnson Institute program.
• Manage the professional education budget, overseeing planning, monitoring, and reporting.
• Consolidate financial and non‑financial data, analyze trends, and present recommendations.
• Oversee training environments, including Innovation Rooms and Simulation Centers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economic Sciences, Administration, Health‑related fields or equivalent experience; postgraduate education is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience, including at least 1 year in MedTech training or commercial representation.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills for activities targeting specialized clinical audiences.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
• Comfortable engaging with healthcare professionals in operating rooms and training labs.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
