Senior Data Scientist (GCP)

About the role

Coderio is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join a high‑impact initiative with a leading airline in Latin America. The role is fully remote and offers the chance to work on large‑scale data science challenges that directly affect millions of passengers and operational decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for data science impact and design, build, and deploy machine‑learning solutions.
• Develop forecasting and optimization models to support complex business and operational decisions.
• Apply rigorous experimentation and causal inference techniques to validate hypotheses and measure impact.
• Explore and prototype generative AI and large language model applications where relevant.
• Collaborate with data engineers and ML engineers to deliver production‑grade models following MLOps best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of experience developing and deploying production‑ready machine‑learning or advanced analytics solutions.
• Strong analytical thinking, structured problem‑solving, and the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Proactive ownership, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous learning.
