Senior DevOps Engineer – Cloud & CI/CD

About the role

Apply Digital is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join its globally distributed team. You will design, build, and optimise cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for modern composable digital platforms, primarily on Google Cloud.

Key responsibilities

• Design cloud infrastructure components (network, compute, storage, orchestration, security) for containerised micro‑service applications.
• Implement and manage these components using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Set up and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor junior engineers on best practices and problem‑resolution techniques.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging technologies and incorporate them into the platform.
• Act as the subject‑matter expert during incidents, leading root‑cause analysis and resolution.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and implement new processes and tools.
• Work with the latest Google Cloud Platform services to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.

Required profile

• Senior‑level individual contributor with deep DevOps expertise.
• Strong understanding of cloud‑native architectures and micro‑service patterns.
• Excellent English communication skills and experience working with remote teams across North America and Latin America.
• Proven ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
