Senior QA Engineer (Platform)

About the role

We are rebuilding the platform layer behind cross‑border payments for corporate and consumer clients. As a Senior QA Engineer focused on ERP integrations, you will own the end‑to‑end quality of our in‑product workflows and shape how the team tests, from design to production observability.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain contract tests and integration harnesses for ERP and accounting platforms such as Sage, Business Central, Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, and Xero.
• Lead test automation that gates code into production across ERP onboarding, multi‑currency accounts, payment initiation, KYB verification, and settlement.
• Balance manual and automated testing, write test cases, and drive automation using Playwright or equivalent frameworks.
• Own CI/CD quality strategy, manage release‑blocking signals, triage flaky tests, and ensure test infrastructure health.
• Investigate production incidents, translate findings into automated tests and process improvements.
• Conduct test architecture design reviews, set quality direction, and mentor mid‑level QA engineers.
• Utilise AI coding and test generation tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) daily to accelerate test estate development.

Required profile

• 6‑10+ years of experience building production test automation and end‑to‑end testing.
• Proven ability to design test frameworks, system architecture, and automation infrastructure.
• Experience working in fast‑moving, cross‑functional teams with direct access to engineering, product, and compliance.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to influence quality decisions across domains.
