Staff Nurse – Outpatient IV Therapy

About the role

The role is based in an outpatient ambulatory unit delivering daily IV antibiotics and complex oral treatments. You will work within a small multidisciplinary team, providing high‑quality care to patients referred from GPs, podiatry, inpatient wards and other health boards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and administer IV medication, including daily IV antibiotics.
• Perform phlebotomy, cannulation, venepuncture and manage PICC line and Midline care.
• Assess, dress and manage wounds using up‑to‑date dressings.
• Document patient care accurately in IT systems and maintain clinical records.
• Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to review patient progress and arrange follow‑up.

Required profile

• Organised, self‑motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom and willingness to join the PVG Scheme.
