Supply Chain & Logistics Operations Coordinator

About the role

The Supply Chain & Logistics Operations Coordinator will manage the end‑to‑end vehicle logistics flow for Chevrolet vehicles in Chile. Working on a hybrid schedule, the role combines on‑site coordination with strategic planning to ensure timely delivery from international shipment to the dealer network.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound operations for Chevrolet vehicles, including international shipment tracking, customs clearance, port evacuation, storage, yard control and national distribution.
• Administer and monitor logistics contracts with multiple suppliers, ensuring timely reception, yard and inventory management, and delivery to the dealer network.
• Lead port vehicle evacuation planning with shipping lines, ports, carriers and 3PL partners.
• Analyze business cases for logistics optimisation and monitor budget impacts.
• Plan and coordinate vehicle distribution across Chile, including Free Trade Zones.
• Review service settlements with logistics providers and generate regional reports (FGI, revenue recognition, budget control).
• Maintain inventory in SAP and manage key performance indicators such as damage‑free rates and aging.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in logistics, supplier management or purchasing.
• Intermediate proficiency in English and Microsoft Office.
• Availability to work on‑site in Ciudad Empresarial, Santiago three days per week and to travel weekly to logistics suppliers and dealers.
