Technical Support Engineer (Blockchain & Backend Development)

About the role

Binance is seeking a Tier 3 Technical Support Engineer to resolve complex technical issues and work closely with backend development teams. The role focuses on expert‑level troubleshooting of Java‑based microservices, APIs and blockchain infrastructure while also contributing to automation and monitoring tools.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced Tier 3 support, quickly identifying, resolving and escalating issues.
• Collaborate with Tier 1/2 support, DevOps and backend developers to fix code‑level and system‑level problems.
• Design, develop and maintain internal automation tools to streamline workflows.
• Build dashboards and monitoring solutions to track system performance and incident trends.
• Work with Java/Spring Boot teams to troubleshoot and enhance APIs and microservices.
• Document troubleshooting processes, root‑cause analyses and best practices for the internal knowledge base.
• Support incident management to ensure 24/7 stability of Binance’s trading platform.
• Explore new technologies and best practices in backend, automation and Web3 infrastructure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 2–10 years of experience in technical support, DevOps or backend engineering for large‑scale systems.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across distributed systems, trading or payment platforms.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin to coordinate with global stakeholders.

Required skills

• Java (preferred) and experience with Spring Boot microservices.
• Python or Rust programming.
• Linux, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipeline expertise.
• Network protocols such as HTTP and TCP/IP; RESTful API troubleshooting.
• MySQL performance tuning; familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
• AI tools (Claude Code) and AI agents for log analysis, data troubleshooting and task automation.
