Accounting Analyst

About the role

TOMRA Food, a multinational provider of sensor-based sorting, peeling and post-harvest solutions for the food industry, is looking for an Accounting Analyst in Las Condes, Santiago. The role contributes to the integrity of financial data, supports key reporting processes, strengthens internal controls and helps drive operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Process and post monthly depreciation and amortization entries, and support the verification, allocation and posting of accruals and provisions.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and perform month-end and year-end closing, including balance sheet reviews, accruals and reclassifications.
• Prepare agent commission reports for Projects, Services and Spare Parts, monitor provisions and propose payments when conditions are met.
• Close month-end import operations and upload daily bank transactions to support cash flow monitoring.
• Follow up on AR/AP parked payments and maintain vendor master data, including payment terms, tax details and banking information.
• Provide financial data and analysis to management, support internal and external audits, and safeguard confidential financial information.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, local tax regulations and internal controls, and support segregation of duties.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of accounting experience, including general ledger postings, reconciliations, month-end close, financial reporting support, vendor master data management and business analysis; LATAM or regional finance exposure preferred.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to handle high transaction volumes and meet deadlines, and excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, tax and compliance requirements.
• Experience with ERP systems, accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
