AWS DevOps Engineer (Linux) – Remote – Latin America

About the role

FullStackFullStack is looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer (Linux) to join a U.S. client’s team on a remote, project‑based basis. You will work closely with designers and engineers, helping to build, deploy, and maintain highly available cloud‑native applications.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Linux‑based production environments, including patching, security hardening, backups, and AD integration.
• Configure, administer, and troubleshoot PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Build and deploy Java applications with Maven, Gradle, and Spring frameworks; support Node.js runtime deployments.
• Implement Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Puppet, or Chef.
• Automate provisioning across on‑premises and cloud infrastructures.
• Containerize applications with Docker and manage artifact repositories such as Artifactory.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines using GitLab Pipelines and ensure continuous integration and delivery practices.
• Monitor systems with tools like Splunk or Dynatrace and maintain Git version‑control workflows.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional DevOps engineering experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and ability to work in Agile/Scrum teams.
