Backend Software Engineer (Java/Spring Boot) – Chile

About the role

We are expanding our engineering team and seeking a Backend Software Engineer to join an international project focused on building scalable backend platforms and distributed services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services.
• Design, build, and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Work within microservices‑based architectures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams.
• Support modern software delivery practices, including CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in building REST APIs and microservices.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD tools.
• Solid knowledge of SQL databases and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure or GCP) is a plus.
• Experience in telecommunications environments is a plus.
