Bilingual Primary Co‑Educator (Coteacher)

About the role

This position is for a bilingual co‑educator who will share classroom responsibilities with a primary school teacher. The role focuses on delivering engaging, age‑appropriate lessons while fostering an inclusive and safe learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver bilingual lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom that meets diverse learning needs.
• Use varied teaching methods and resources to support different learning styles.
• Assess, record and report student progress regularly.
• Provide constructive feedback to students, parents and guardians.
• Maintain classroom routines that promote respect and positive behaviour.
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff and school leadership.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, parent‑teacher conferences and school events.
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers.
• Identify and respond to individual student needs, including special educational needs.
• Integrate technology and digital tools to enhance learning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification or licensure for the relevant region.
• 1–3 years of experience teaching elementary‑aged children.
• Experience working with diverse learners and inclusive classrooms.
• Familiarity with relevant curriculum and educational standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with educational technology platforms and digital teaching tools.
