Business Development Manager – BESS / Solar

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive sales of Huawei’s BESS and solar solutions in Chile. The role focuses on developing non‑North‑American customer relationships, managing sales projects and achieving market and revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential customers in the PMGD and C&I markets, understanding their business challenges and requirements.
• Promote Huawei’s inverter and BESS technologies, presenting tailored solutions that address customer pain points.
• Lead sales negotiations, manage project timelines and ensure successful delivery of contracts.
• Collaborate with technical teams to align solutions with customer strategies and industry trends.
• Monitor market developments in solar energy and define effective sales strategies for the region.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling inverters and transformer stations to PMGD and C&I customers.
• Strong understanding of BESS technology is advantageous.
• Excellent negotiation skills, customer focus and ability to work within a team.
• Advanced level of English.
