Business Development Manager – Industrial Market

About the role

HIKMICRO is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand its industrial market presence in Chile. The role focuses on building strong relationships with distributors and end‑users, promoting HIKMICRO’s thermal imaging and related technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the industrial market, conducting market research, competitor analysis, and customer surveys.
• Identify new business opportunities and growth points within the industrial sector.
• Approach, negotiate, and establish long‑term relationships with distributors and end‑users.
• Present solutions to potential customers and support marketing activities at trade shows, conferences, and other events.
• Collaborate closely with the regional sales team and assist consultants in specifying projects.
• Lobby within industry associations and interest groups to position HIKMICRO as the preferred supplier.
• Prepare regular reports for management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in the industrial market with strong negotiation skills at the corporate level.
• Open‑minded and able to work in a multicultural environment.
• Self‑driven, ambitious, and aligned with a winning culture.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Infrared Thermography, Flow Meter, Pressure Transmitter, or Level Meter technologies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and related productivity tools.
