Carrier Business Development Manager

About the role

China Mobile International Chile seeks a dynamic Business Development Manager to lead carrier‑focused growth in Chile. You will drive strategic cooperation with major telecom operators, expanding both traditional wholesale services and emerging 5G‑based solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and nurture executive‑level relationships with leading telecom operators to secure long‑term partnerships.
• Promote carrier collaborations such as voice/SMS interconnection, wholesale services, international leased lines, and roaming.
• Leverage China Mobile’s 5G private networks, DICT solutions, smart‑city projects, and data‑center capabilities to create new business opportunities for government and enterprise customers.
• Identify and supply telecom equipment and materials for operators’ internal use, using the group’s scale and supply‑chain advantages.
• Represent the company at regional and international industry events, expanding the network and enhancing brand influence.
• Coordinate resources across specialized business units to ensure effective market implementation and a sustainable cooperation ecosystem.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Telecommunications Engineering, Marketing, International Business or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry with a strong network among carriers and direct access to senior decision‑makers (CEOs, CTOs, CMOs, etc.).
• Deep understanding of carrier wholesale models and emerging ICT/5G cooperation frameworks.
• Proven track record in executive‑level negotiations and strategic partnership development.
• Fluent Spanish (native) and proficient English.
