Clinical Research Associate (CRA II/Sr) – Remote, Santiago

About the role

Syneos Health is seeking an experienced Clinical Research Associate (CRA II or Senior CRA) to support sponsor‑dedicated studies on a remote basis from Santiago. The role involves comprehensive site monitoring, data verification, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and protocol requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform site qualification, initiation, interim monitoring, and close‑out visits remotely or on‑site.
• Review source documents, verify data entry in case report forms, and resolve queries within agreed timelines.
• Manage investigational product inventory, reconciliation, storage, and dispensing according to protocol.
• Document activities through trip reports, communication logs, and other required project documents.
• Support subject recruitment, retention, and awareness strategies.
• Act as liaison with study sites, ensure training compliance, and prepare for audits.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of clinical monitoring experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or RN in a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and ICH guideline knowledge.
• Experience with electronic data capture (EDC) systems.
• Source document review and investigational product management.
• Query resolution and data tracking capabilities.
