Data Scientist, Advanced Analytics

About the role

As a Data Scientist in Advanced Analytics at Cabify, you will join a team of over 30 SQL and data‑visualisation specialists. You will help drive data‑driven decisions across product, engineering, growth and operations, working with large‑scale data warehouses and modern visualisation tools.

Key responsibilities

• Write efficient SQL queries against Google BigQuery and Amazon Redshift to extract and analyse large data sets.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau or PowerBI to monitor key performance indicators.
• Conduct exploratory analyses to generate insights and recommend actions for product and business strategy.
• Present findings to cross‑functional teams and senior leadership.
• Collaborate with engineers to define data requirements, design data models and request new event tracking.
• Develop reusable data sources that empower self‑service analytics across the organisation.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst.
• Graduate degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Statistics or a related field.
• Strong alignment with Cabify’s principles and commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL proficiency for complex queries on large data sets.
• Experience with Tableau, PowerBI or similar data‑visualisation tools.
• Familiarity with cloud data warehouses such as Google BigQuery and Amazon Redshift.
