Director, HCC CA/LATAM Regional Lead

About the role

The Director, HCC CA/LATAM Regional Lead will lead the Health Care Compliance function for Canada and Latin America, supporting the transition of the Orthopaedics business to the new DePuy Synthes entity. This senior position reports to senior leadership and is responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, policies and ethical standards across the assigned markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and oversee compliance programs for the CA/LATAM region.
• Monitor regulatory changes and ensure timely incorporation into business processes.
• Provide guidance and training to local teams on compliance matters.
• Coordinate with DePuy Synthes leadership to align regional compliance activities with global standards.
• Lead investigations of compliance incidents and report findings to senior management.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in health‑care or medical‑device compliance, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks in Canada and Latin American countries.
• Proven leadership abilities with experience managing cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional language proficiency is a plus.
