Director of Academic Excellence (Remote)

About the role

2 Hour Learning is seeking a visionary leader to head its Academic Excellence function. You will translate evidence‑based learning science into operational strategies that enable students to achieve accelerated gains within a two‑hour daily learning window.

Key responsibilities

• Develop academic frameworks that convert learning science into actionable direction for curriculum design, student motivation systems, and application interfaces.
• Oversee academic execution reviews with Heads of Academics to ensure alignment, accountability, and performance across multiple school partners.
• Integrate data analysis, stakeholder interviews, and direct observations into comprehensive ecosystem evaluations, identifying critical obstacles and recommending concrete solutions.
• Maintain strategic coherence through structured planning, continuous feedback mechanisms, and progress tracking focused on student learning objectives.
• Represent 2 Hour Learning in high‑profile settings, delivering keynote presentations and engaging with Ministries of Education to influence global education perspectives.

Required profile

• Proven track record of leading academic programs that deliver measurable learning outcomes.
• Experience converting scientific research into scalable operational models.
• Ability to diagnose execution breakdowns and build high‑performing teams.
• Strong communication skills for advocacy with external audiences, including policymakers and education leaders.
