Director of Learning Strategy (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a senior academic leader to drive the learning strategy of 2 Hour Learning, a remote‑first organization that enables students to learn at twice the speed using AI‑powered tutoring and mastery‑based progression. The Director will translate evidence‑based learning science into operational systems, standardise execution across partner schools and act as the public face of the movement.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement academic structures that turn learning‑science principles into curriculum, student‑engagement and technology roadmaps.
• Assess academic execution with Heads of Academics to ensure alignment, accountability and measurable outcomes.
• Integrate data analysis, stakeholder interviews and observations into comprehensive evaluations that pinpoint obstacles and recommend targeted solutions.
• Maintain strategic cohesion through structured planning, continuous feedback loops and progress benchmarking.
• Represent 2 Hour Learning at high‑profile forums, delivering keynotes and engaging with national education authorities to promote evidence‑based schooling.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design or a related field.
• Proven track record of building and scaling academic systems that deliver measurable student impact.
• Experience leading elite teams and standardising execution across diverse educational environments.
• Strong public‑speaking ability and experience influencing education policy or practice at a national or international level.
