Engineering Manager – SaaS Team Lead

About the role

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a high‑performing engineering team in a fast‑growing SaaS environment. Based in Chile, you will combine technical leadership with people management, staying close enough to the work to guide decisions and maintain engineering quality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of engineers through coaching, feedback and career development.
• Own sprint planning, task allocation and delivery tracking in close collaboration with Product.
• Translate product and technical requirements into clear, actionable plans.
• Maintain high standards for code quality, documentation, testing, architecture and technical debt.
• Identify delivery risks and technical bottlenecks early, communicate issues and propose solutions.
• Partner with senior engineering leadership on priorities, architecture, tooling and processes.
• Stay hands‑on with technical work to participate in discussions and reviews.
• Support hiring, onboarding and team expansion while protecting product quality and engineering stability.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in an engineering leadership role.
• Strong technical foundation with the ability to lead discussions and provide guidance without coding daily.
• Hands‑on experience with Bubble.io or strong familiarity with no‑code/low‑code platforms.
• Proven experience managing software delivery in an agile environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
