Expeditor / Activador/a

About the role

The Expeditor / Activador will support Bechtel's Supply Chain team in Santiago by ensuring that all supplier contractual commitments are fulfilled on schedule. You will monitor the entire supply cycle—from award through manufacturing, inspection, documentation and dispatch—to guarantee that materials and equipment arrive at the project site when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Review and monitor supplier‑committed schedules against engineering, manufacturing and inspection baselines.
• Track weekly progress and identify any deviations from the baseline.
• Coordinate follow‑up meetings with suppliers and request recovery plans when needed.
• Update expediting reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Arrange and conduct factory visits and BSQE inspections as required.
• Ensure timely issuance and verification of all required documentation.

Required profile

• Must report to the Supply Chain function.
• Ability to lead the fulfillment of supplier commitments and drive corrective actions.
• Strong organizational skills to coordinate meetings, visits and inspections.
• Attention to detail for monitoring schedules and updating reports.
