Facility Specialist – Workplace & Soft Services

About the role

Huawei Technologies is seeking a Facility Specialist – Workplace & Soft Services to oversee delivery and continuous improvement of workplace services across its corporate office environment. The role focuses on employee experience, vendor management, service excellence, and operational efficiency to ensure a safe, productive, and high‑quality workplace for employees and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day management of workplace and soft services operations, including cleaning, security, reception, mailroom, landscaping, and helpdesk support.
• Drive initiatives that enhance workplace experience and employee satisfaction.
• Manage outsourced service providers, monitor performance through KPIs, SLAs, audits and regular reviews.
• Lead service improvement initiatives and corrective action plans, supporting contract administration and invoicing validation.
• Act as primary point of contact for workplace‑related services, responding to employee concerns and service requests promptly.
• Oversee workplace service requests and ticketing processes, ensuring timely resolution of incidents.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, corporate policies and manage risks related to security, hygiene and safety.
• Manage workplace services budgets, identify cost optimisation opportunities and support procurement activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing workplace operations, corporate facilities or soft services in office environments.
• Strong experience managing outsourced vendors for cleaning, security, reception and workplace support.
• Proven knowledge of SLA, KPI, contract and vendor performance management.
• Experience in corporate offices of multinational or technology firms.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with workplace helpdesk or service management systems.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (mandatory).
