Freelance Full-Stack Web App Developer (Remote)

About the role

Mindrift is seeking experienced full‑stack developers to work on the Tendem project, building interactive browser‑based applications in a hybrid AI‑human environment. This part‑time freelance position is fully remote and ideal for professionals who enjoy turning AI‑generated code into production‑ready web products.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop full‑stack web applications using modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, Vue or similar) and backend APIs (Python with FastAPI/Flask or Node with Express).
• Create and manage data models and persistence layers with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, SQLite) or NoSQL stores.
• Implement authentication, session handling, and role‑based access controls where required.
• Integrate third‑party APIs and generative AI services such as OpenAI or Anthropic into product features.
• Handle state management, input validation, error handling, and loading states for a smooth user experience.
• Develop standalone Python tools and scripts for data processing, API clients, or lightweight backend utilities.
• Review and refactor AI‑generated full‑stack code to ensure correctness, security, performance, and maintainability.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience delivering full‑stack web applications.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently across frontend, backend, databases, and APIs.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field is a plus.
