Full Stack Software Engineer (Mid)

About the role

XeXe is a cross‑border payments platform serving SMEs and consumers in multiple markets. We are rebuilding the platform layer that moves money for corporate and consumer clients. As a mid‑level full‑stack engineer you will own features from API design through frontend experience, backend services, and production reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Build and ship features that move money and manage multi‑currency balances across onboarding, KYC/KYB, payment initiation, FX, settlement and related services.
• Develop customer‑facing features, covering UI implementation and the underlying services.
• Own services in production, including reliability, observability, on‑call duties and incident response.
• Collaborate with product, design and compliance teams from problem framing to launch.
• Use agentic coding tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) daily for prototyping, refactoring, testing and documentation.
• Help modernize legacy services by migrating them to the new stack alongside architects and team leads.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of experience building production web applications end‑to‑end.
• Strong frontend proficiency with Vue.js, React or equivalent.
• Strong backend proficiency in C#/.NET (or Java, Kotlin, Go or similar OOP languages).
• Solid SQL and relational database fundamentals.
• Experience writing and maintaining automated tests.
• Daily use of agentic coding tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code or equivalent).
• Production experience on AWS, including SQS, DynamoDB, S3, ECS and Lambda.
• Strong computer‑science fundamentals and pragmatic system design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across engineering, product and design.
