Full Stack Software Engineer (Mid)

About the role

Xe is rebuilding its cross‑border payments platform and needs a mid‑level full‑stack engineer to own end‑to‑end features that move money, manage multi‑currency balances, and ship customer‑facing experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Build and ship features across the stack for onboarding, KYC/KYB, payment initiation, FX, settlement and related services.
• Own production services including reliability, observability, on‑call duties and incident response.
• Partner with product, design and compliance from problem framing through launch.
• Use AI‑assisted coding tools daily for prototyping, refactoring, testing and documentation.
• Help modernize legacy services by migrating them to the new platform alongside architects.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of experience building production web applications end‑to‑end.
• Strong communication and collaboration across engineering, product and design.
• Experience with AWS services such as SQS, DynamoDB, S3, ECS and Lambda.

Required skills

• Frontend: Vue.js, React or equivalent.
• Backend: C#/.NET preferred; Java, Kotlin, Go or other OOP languages acceptable.
• SQL and relational database fundamentals.
• Testing and test automation as part of the development workflow.
• Agentic coding tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code).
