Global Account Manager – Strategic Sales & Supply Chain

About the role

As a Global Account Manager you will own executive‑level relationships with large multinational organisations, delivering consultative selling and strategic supply‑chain solutions that support long‑term profitability and growth for Wesco.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve global sales revenue targets and expand product portfolios internationally.
• Develop, implement and execute supply‑chain solutions across multiple sites, regions and theatres.
• Negotiate master supply agreements, contracts and understand legal and financial risk implications.
• Identify new business opportunities, build pursuit plans and lead cross‑functional execution teams.
• Maintain a pipeline of renewals, projects and share‑improvement opportunities for named accounts.
• Collaborate with senior sales and supplier resources to create solutions aligned with corporate strategy.
• Communicate account activity, opportunity status and project progress to the executive team.

Required profile

• Proven ability to cultivate executive‑level relationships across countries.
• Strong negotiation skills with a solid understanding of contract terms and financial impact.
• Experience in strategic account planning, new‑business development and value‑add selling.
• Capability to lead multi‑person sales cycles and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills for complex supply‑chain and sustainability challenges.
