Home Health Operations Team Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Home Health Operations Team Lead to manage the daily activities of an administrative team supporting a U.S.-based Home Health Agency. The role focuses on intake, coordination, and HR/caregiver compliance, ensuring patient cases are processed accurately and caregivers are scheduled efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support team members handling intake, coordination, and HR functions.
• Assign and prioritize daily workloads, monitor productivity, and ensure accuracy.
• Train, coach, and review team members on procedures and workflows.
• Oversee new patient referrals, collect required documentation, and monitor case progress.
• Coordinate caregiver scheduling, monitor open shifts, missed visits, and resolve coverage conflicts.
• Support caregiver recruiting, onboarding, and maintain compliance documentation.
• Monitor dashboards, reports, and ensure audit‑ready documentation.
• Prepare status updates and reports for agency management.

Required profile

• Previous experience working in a Home Health Agency or similar home care setting.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate an administrative team.
• Strong understanding of intake processes, caregiver scheduling, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to handle urgent operational issues.
• Effective communication with patients, families, insurers, and internal departments.
