HR & Recruitment Coordinator (Home Care)

About the role

HomeWell Care Services is seeking an organized, energetic HR & Recruitment Coordinator to lead the caregiver hiring process. You will partner with the Care Manager to ensure every client receives top‑notch care while caregivers are recruited, onboarded, and supported effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Source and recruit caregivers through job boards, social media, referrals and community outreach.
• Screen applications, conduct phone interviews and in‑person interviews.
• Maintain an active pipeline of qualified candidates and represent the company at hiring events.
• Coordinate pre‑employment paperwork, new‑hire orientation and onboarding activities.
• Keep employee records compliant with company policies and assist with engagement, retention and performance‑evaluation programs.
• Provide HR support on after‑hours calls, cover for the Care Manager as needed, and participate in community marketing.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in recruiting, HR, staffing or talent acquisition.
• Experience in home‑care, healthcare or staffing environments preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational and multitasking abilities.
• High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems.
