iOS Software Engineer

About the role

EPAM is looking for a creative iOS Software Engineer to join its mobile engineering team. You will design, develop, and maintain native iOS applications using Swift, delivering high‑performance, intuitive experiences for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain native iOS apps with Swift.
• Collaborate with product designers to create pixel‑perfect UI that follows Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines.
• Integrate apps with backend services via RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Write clean, modular code and participate in code reviews.
• Develop unit and UI tests using XCTest and monitor performance with Instruments.
• Manage the release lifecycle, including builds and App Store submission.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in native iOS development.
• Proficiency in English (B1+ level) for effective communication.
• Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Experience with version control (Git) and task‑tracking tools (e.g., Jira).

Required skills

• Swift programming language.
• iOS SDK and Xcode.
• Modern architectural patterns (MVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture, Combine, Swift Concurrency).
• SwiftUI (preferred) or UIKit (Auto Layout, Storyboards/XIBs).
• RESTful and GraphQL API integration.
• XCTest for unit/UI testing.
• Instruments for performance, memory, and battery profiling.
• App Store Connect for app submission.
