Lead Consultant – Cloud Engineer (Azure & Terraform)

About the role

Infosys is looking for a proactive Lead Consultant to design, implement and maintain Azure‑based cloud solutions in Santiago, Chile. The role combines strong technical expertise in Microsoft Azure, Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practices to deliver scalable, secure and high‑performance services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy Azure infrastructure using Terraform and other IaC tools.
• Build, manage and optimise CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align cloud solutions with business and technical requirements.
• Investigate and resolve incidents independently, leveraging documentation and available resources.
• Maintain version control repositories with Git and support cloud operations such as backups, disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Document high‑level and low‑level cloud architecture designs.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience with Microsoft Azure.
• At least 1 year of hands‑on experience with Terraform.
• Solid experience using Git for version control.
• Strong understanding of DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
• Ability to work independently and research solutions using documentation.

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, storage, identity, backup).
• Terraform (including Terraform Cloud for Business).
• Git.
• CI/CD pipeline tools.
• Azure DevOps or Azure Developer tools.
• Containerisation technologies such as AKS and App Service Containers.
• ServiceNow (ITSM) familiarity.
