Lead DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a committed Lead DevOps Engineer to drive the evolution of our AWS‑focused cloud infrastructure. You will lead migrations, automation pipelines, and security initiatives while working with global, highly skilled teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AWS Lambda services and API Gateway endpoints using Python and boto3.
• Lead the transition from legacy cicd‑functions pipelines to GitHub Actions workflows.
• Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform and supplement with the Serverless Framework.
• Execute brownfield refactors, service decommissions, OAuth migrations, WAF block‑mode enablement, and Mythos SAST/SCA remediations.
• Configure and tune AWS WAF rules and address security findings from SAST and SCA tools.
• Integrate internal and third‑party systems via REST APIs, including ServiceNow OAuth client‑credentials flows.
• Automate operational workflows using tools such as n8n or LangChain.
• Partner with the SRE Consultant to close telemetry gaps and automate Lambda‑based data collection.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in DevOps or cloud engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience leading and overseeing development teams.
• Strong oral and written English communication skills (B2+ level).

Required skills

• Python development for AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
• Proficiency with boto3 (IAM, Secrets Manager, SSM, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, WAF).
• Hands‑on Terraform for production‑grade infrastructure as code.
• Experience with the Serverless Framework.
• Building CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions.
• Defining and managing AWS WAF rules, including block mode.
• Knowledge of security tooling such as SAST and SCA.
• OAuth client‑credentials flows and REST API integration.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow integration.
• Exposure to orchestration tools like n8n or LangChain (plus).
• Nice‑to‑have: Snowflake for cloud data warehousing.
