Lead Full Stack Software Engineer

About the role

EPAM is looking for a Lead Full Stack Software Engineer to design and deliver intuitive, high‑performance user interfaces and integration libraries that make Generative AI and intelligent automation accessible across multiple business domains.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build end‑to‑end GenAI‑powered applications with a focus on responsive web UIs and low‑latency client‑side API integrations.
• Develop reusable frontend components, custom hooks, and design systems for enterprise‑scale AI products.
• Implement LLM‑based experiences using frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex with providers like OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to iterate on novel AI UX patterns, including chat assistants, prompt builders, and feedback loops.
• Ensure security, accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA), observability, and comprehensive test coverage across the full stack.
• Maintain a shared library that enables internal teams to embed GenAI capabilities quickly.

Required profile

• 5+ years of production experience with React, TypeScript, or Vue in enterprise web applications.
• 5–8 years of full‑stack engineering experience, including REST APIs and microservices.
• 2+ years integrating GenAI features, LLM APIs, and prompt UI patterns.
• Strong Python backend skills and experience with AWS, Docker, and cloud microservices.
• Proficiency in English at a B2+ level.
