Lead iOS Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an accomplished Lead iOS Software Engineer to own the technical strategy, architecture, and evolution of our native iOS applications. You will set engineering standards, guide a talented team, and deliver high‑performance, user‑friendly mobile experiences that scale with our business.

Key responsibilities

• Define, architect, and evolve the technical vision for native iOS apps using Swift.
• Establish and enforce best practices, coding standards, and architectural patterns across the mobile organization.
• Lead roadmap planning, balancing product needs, technical debt, scalability, and innovation.
• Collaborate with product designers to implement responsive, pixel‑perfect UI that follows Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines.
• Design robust integrations with backend services via RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Write clean, modular code, lead code reviews, and ensure high engineering quality.
• Define testing strategies, including unit and UI tests with XCTest, and drive performance, memory, and battery optimisations using Instruments.
• Own the end‑to‑end release lifecycle, including build processes, certificate management, and App Store submissions.
• Mentor, coach, and grow a team of iOS engineers, conduct technical interviews, and foster a high‑performing culture.
• Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to influence product roadmaps and align mobile strategy with business goals.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience developing native iOS applications.
• 1+ years of experience leading engineering teams or technical initiatives on production‑grade apps.
• Expert‑level proficiency in Swift and deep mastery of the iOS SDK and Apple developer tools such as Xcode and Instruments.
