Logistics Specialist – Data Center Operations

About the role

Join Amazon Web Services and support the world’s largest cloud computing infrastructure as a Logistics Specialist. You will ensure that data‑center technicians and engineers have the parts they need, while maintaining accurate inventory and a safe, organized workspace.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and record incoming parts and materials for data‑center operations.
• Maintain control of storage rooms, ensuring inventory accuracy, tidiness, and proper labeling.
• Attend to data‑center operation requests, providing information and resolving tickets.
• Physically move, lift, and transport objects and shipments between locations.
• Perform cycle counts and adjust inventory records as needed.
• Keep precise records of all commodities entering and leaving the facility.

Required profile

• Experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Knowledge of reverse‑logistics processes and vendor relationships (helpful).
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and operational excellence.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work shift schedules.
• Physical ability to lift and move materials regularly.
