Maintenance Engineer – Hotel/Resort

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our resort/hotel team, performing a variety of maintenance trade functions including equipment installation, HVAC, painting, wall repair, tile work and preventative maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance of building and facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Perform general electrical repairs on appliances, house wiring and air‑conditioning systems, switches, fixtures and motors.
• Make repairs on plumbing fixtures, piping, drains and sanitary systems.
• Repair woodwork, wall vinyl, doors and windows, carpeting, and related finishes.
• Perform mechanical maintenance on pumps, compressors, water heaters, automotive equipment, and other miscellaneous equipment.
• Keep records, maintain logs, prepare reports as requested by supervisors and submit them in a timely manner.

Required profile

• Experience working in a maintenance role at a hotel or resort.
• Knowledge of household repairs such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.
• Engaging and welcoming personality with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, push/pull throughout the shift and lift up to 50 lb.
