Mid-level DevOps Engineer

About the role

XeXe is rebuilding its cross‑border payments platform and needs a mid‑level DevOps Engineer to own end‑to‑end infrastructure, pipelines and incident response. You will work closely with engineering, architecture and security teams to keep the money‑moving production environment resilient, fast and AI‑enhanced.

Key responsibilities

• Own CI/CD pipeline reliability and developer experience across squads, including release gating, automation and rollback safety.
• Design, build and operate multi‑region AWS infrastructure (Cognito, networking, disaster recovery, IAM).
• Partner with engineering to adopt AI‑accelerated SDLC tooling.
• Maintain production observability, define SLOs, set up alerting and lead on‑call incident response.
• Use agentic coding tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) daily throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of experience building and operating production infrastructure end‑to‑end.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS in multi‑region setups, IAM, networking and managed services.
• Proven track record of owning CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or equivalent) and container orchestration in production.
• Experience with production observability, monitoring stacks, SLO definition and on‑call rotation.
• Daily use of agentic coding tools and excellent written and verbal communication.
